　このたび、本国際先端科学技術研究機構では下記により教員の公募をいたしますので、貴機関関係各位に 周知方よろしくお取り計らいくださいますようお願い申し上げます。

1．募集職名及び人員 テニュアトラック准教授1名
2．所属 熊本大学国際先端科学技術研究機構
3．研究分野 生物科学分野（特に、植物科学並びに植物感染性線虫等に関する農学分野）
４．担当業務
（1） 国際先端科学技術研究機構における研究業務
（当該分野における海外機関との国際共同研究、最先端研究の推進、海外学術誌への質の高い論文の投稿ほか）
（2） 大学院自然科学教育部における教育及び研究指導業務
（3） 理学部における教育及び研究指導業務
5．採用年月日 令和７年４月１日以降のできる限り早い時期

（1） 博士あるいはPh.Dの学位を有していること（取得見込みも含む）
（2） 優れた研究業績を有する方
（3） 学部及び大学院における教育・研究並びに国際先端科学技術研究機構運営に対して熱意を有する方
（4） 国際的な教育研究活動に積極的である方
（5） 英語による教育研究指導ができる方
（6） 外国人の場合には、学内外における諸業務の遂行が可能な日本語能力を有する方
（7） 植物科学や植物感染性線虫を材料とした農学研究の実績がある方

８．研究支援等
（1） 研究費の措置
（2） 研究室及び実験室の提供
（3） 研究助言等を行うメンターの配置。メンターには、テニュアトラック教員と専門分野の近い教授を充てる。
9．労働条件等
（1）職務内容： （雇入れ直後）テニュアトラック准教授としての業務に従事する
（変更の範囲）熊本大学の定める業務
（2）勤務形態： 同意に基づく専門業務型裁量労働制
勤務時間は、職員の裁量に委ねるものとし、1日の勤務時間は7時間45分とみなす
（3）雇用形態： 個別契約職員。任期の定めあり（採用後５年間）。
業績評価（採用から３年経過後の中間評価、４年経過後のテニュア資格審査）に合格した後は、テニュア（准教授）を付与して、熊本大学大学院先端科学研究部（理学系）の所属とする。
（4）試用期間： 6か月

（6）時間外労働： 時間外、深夜、休日労働の有無　有

Descriptions of Details

1. Name and Number of Positions: One tenure-track associate professor position
2. Affiliation: The International Research Organization for Advanced Science and Technology (IROAST), Kumamoto University
3. Field of Research: Division of Biological Science (Plant biology and/or plant-parasitic nematode-relatedagriculture)
4. Responsibilities:
(1) Performing cutting-edge research works at the IROAST for the promotion of international joint research with overseas universities and/or institutions, and the submission of high-quality papers to international journals, and others.
(2) Teaching classes and guiding courses at the Graduate School of Science and Technology
(3) Teaching classes and guiding courses at the Faculty of Science
5. Starting Date of Appointment: Earliest possible date on or after April 1, 2025
6. Candidate Qualifications:
(1) Doctor's degree or Ph.D. degree or expected to obtain
(2) Excellent research achievement
(3) High motivation in education, researches and management for the IROAST
(4) Enthusiasm for performing international collaborative research and education
(5) English language skills for teaching classes and guiding courses
(6) Japanese language skills to perform various works inside and outside Kumamoto University
(7) Experiences in engaging research in plant biology and/or plant-parasitic nematode-related agriculture.

8. Support for the Research at the IROAST:
(1) Grant for research funds
(2) Providing laboratory space
(3) Allocation of a mentor guiding research activities. The mentor will be a professor whose research field is close to that of the tenure-track associate professor.
9. Working Conditions:
(1)Content: Immediately after employment: Engaged in work as an Associate Professor on a tenure-track Subject to change: Specified by Kumamoto University
(2)Working Hours: Discretionary labor system for professional work based on consent. Working hours are at the discretion of the employee and are considered to be 7hours and 45minutes a day.
(3)Type of Employment: Individually contracted employee. Term of Appointment: 5years.
The intermediate evaluation and the final evaluation of tenure-status will be held 3years after, and 4years after the start of the appointment, respectively. When passing the final evaluation, the tenuretrack associate professor will be a tenured associate professor belonging to the Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology.
(4)Probationary Period: Six months
(5)Work Location: Immediately after employment: Kurokami Campus, Kumamoto University
Subject to change: Specified by Kumamoto University
(6)Overtime Work: May be required to work overtime, late at night, or on holidays
(7)Wages: Following the annual salary system of Kumamoto University including bonus and allowance for retirement at the expiration of appointment term
(8)Insurance: Health insurance of Mutual Aid Association of MEXT, employment insurance, and worker's compensation insurance

Describe all the co-authors and the additional information such as h-Index of the applicants, Impact Factors of academic journals and Citation Indices, if applicable.
