　このたび、先端科学研究部では下記により教員の公募をいたしますので、貴機関関係各位に周知方よろしくお取り計らいくださいますようお願い申し上げます。

記

1．募集人員 化学分野　准教授1名
2．所属 熊本大学大学院先端科学研究部基礎科学部門化学分野
3．専門分野 物理化学。特に、固体化学または機能性材料の開発と評価に関する新たな研究領域を開拓し得る方
4．担当科目 博士前期・後期課程における専門分野の講義・演習・研究指導、理学部における量子化学・熱力学・固体化学をはじめとする物理化学の講義や演習・学生実験、基礎化学に関連する全学教養教育科目など。
5．採用年月日 令和7年2月1日以降、採用決定後できる限り早い時期
6．応募資格
（1） 博士あるいはPh.Dの学位を有する方
（2） 優れた研究業績を有する方
（3） 学部及び大学院における教育・研究並びに大学運営に対して熱意を有する方
（4） 学内外における諸業務の遂行が可能な日本語能力を有する方（例えば、JLPT N3レベル以上）
7．提出書類 以下の書類を全てA4版またはレターサイズで統一して提出してください。
（1） 履歴書　2部（1部はコピー可）
様式の指定はありません。写真を添付し、氏名、性別、生年月日、現住所、電話番号、電子メールアドレス、学歴、学位、職歴などを記載してください。また、男女を問わず、出産、育児、介護に専念（あるいは従事）した期間について考慮されることを希望する場合は、付記して下さい。
（2） 業績リスト　2部
審査を経た論文、著書･総説、その他（紀要、特許など）に分類し、公表年を降順に並べて下さい。その際、論文の責任著者（corresponding author）には＊印をつけ、応募者が第一著者あるいは責任著者である論文には○印を付けて下さい。また、応募時における発表論文誌のインパクト・ファクターと各論文の被引用回数もそれぞれに記載してください。学会発表は、本人が発表した招待・依頼講演のみとします。
（3） 論文別刷（研究業績リストに掲載の査読付き主要論文10編以内の別刷り、コピー可）2組
研究業績リストの該当論文に◎印を付けて下さい。
（4） 競争的研究資金の取得状況　2部
科学研究費補助金とその他助成金を分け、その種目、研究課題名、助成期間、代表・分担の区別、補助金の総額を明記してください。
（5） これまでの研究概要（2,000文字程度）2部

Details

1. Name and Number of Positions: Associate Professor (full-time), one position
2. Affiliation: Division of Natural Science, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology, Kumamoto University
3. Field of Research: Chemistry
The successful candidate will be expected to pioneer new research fields related to physical chemistry, particularly solid state or material chemistry.
4. Responsibilities: (1) Provide research guidance and lectures at the Graduate School of Science and Technology.
(2) Provide research guidance and lectures on physical chemistry, such as quantum chemistry, thermodynamics, and solid state chemistry, at the Faculty of Science (undergraduate course).
(3) Other lectures on basic chemistry in general education courses.
5. Starting Date of Appointment: Earliest possible date after February 1st, 2025
6. Candidate Qualifications:
(1) PhD or an equivalent holder
(2) Excellent research achievements
(3) High motivation in education, research, and university management
(4) Non-Japanese speakers should have Japanese proficiency (e.g., Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 or higher) to perform various duties inside and outside of Kumamoto University.

11. Screening Process: Preliminary Screening: Document Review
Secondary Screening: Interview
We will conduct in-person or remote interviews. Any costs related to the interviews, such as transportation and accommodation expenses, will not be reimbursed by Kumamoto University. Details will be announced after the preliminary screening.
12. Working Conditions:
(1) Working Hours: Discretionary labor systems for professional work based on consent.
Working hours will be left to the discretion of the employee, with working hours per day deemed 7 hours and 45 minutes.
(2) Terms of Employment: Not fixed
(3) Probationary Period: Six months
(4) Work Location: Kurokami Campus, Kumamoto University
(5) Overtime Work: Overtime, late-night, or holiday work may be required
