[演題] Fun with Acetylene Chemistry
[概要] The lectures describes the research work done in the laboratory of S.Sankararaman in the area of synthetic acetylene chemistry. Synthesis of some novel cyclophanes and dehydroannules bearing acetylenic linkages and their properties will be described. Studies on the weak pi-pi interactions for the stabilization of conformers arising out of C(triple bond)C will be discussed. Novel fluorophores based on acetylenic conjugation will be discussed.
